12 yr old Chinese male goose can't keep wings to his side. Wings are constantly trembling and drooping. Walks, eats normally. Free range. No new birds here. No other birds affected. Any ideas what this could be? Neurological? Infection?

Really tough one with waterfowl. This may be a stupid question but it's not just wing shuffling is it? Has he got more wet or hotter than usual. It may be worth getting some blood tests if it persists.

It's been really hot here in VA. He just can't keep his wings still. When he sits, his wings are not against his body but more like extra supports to hold him up. We are a small farmstead goat dairy with many to care for. Just wanted to try to help him since he's been here so long.

It may sound silly, but he may just be wing shuffling to cool himself down? Does he have bathing water and easily accessible shade?
