Tiny hernia

I have a 5 day old chick and have notices she has what I think is a tiny looking hernia, what can I do about this? Will it affect the chick?

Excuse the brown, I have put iodine on it

One of those ‘wait and see’ situations, I think Lisa. Nothing you can do about it; it may survive, but perhaps Nature is telling you something. It’s your decision, but attempting to medicate a deformed chick is unlikely to result in a normal, healthy bird and it might be best to let it go.
