Hi All,
We are thinking of keeping indian runner ducks with our five bantams,we have two ponds which they probably not use and a hen house in a fenced off area of the garden. Will the ducks use the run and hen house with the bantams? or should we be looking at a different breed of duck.
Just for info, Marigold, I have wormed our chickens as suggested in another topic on the chicken forum and we did get four and a half eggs the other day, which assumes that Pavlova has started laying again.

Not sure if you've read the section on keeping ducks on the main Poultrykeeper forum, cobaltblue, see https://poultrykeeper.com/keeping-ducks/ there's a section on keeping ducks and chickens together which may interest you. Do consider how much room you have for them – though lovely, ducks are even more messy than chickens and consequently need even more space per bird than chickens.
Glad Pavlova is back on stream. By 4.5 eggs, did you mean one of them laid a tiny wind egg with no yolk? This is quite common and nothing to worry about.
