i have found my hen, it was iving it up next door with the roosters.
as the story goes my black tailed hen will not go in even if you ask nicely so my sister chased it and it flew over the wall, so out i went in to the feild to rcover it and what did i see over the next doors wall but my chook who had been missing for five days, presumed eaten by mr fox.
all the hens are looking happier with the amber back, they had been suffering having lost the alpha chook and the bootom chook in one day. as soon as she was back she peacked them all and put them back in their places.
she also taught them how to peck at the sweet corn i had hung up the rest had been avoiding it for days.
i am well pleased.
