......all done, with the exception of trim, paint and adding 3 vents.
Noting fancy, and it only cost me $15 to build. The $15 was for a latch and the 3 vents. I love having a carpenter for a best friend!! All the other materials for free.

They look very happy in there Wrigley. I would add a small second screw into the end of the perch otherwise as the wood shrinks they will rotate and of course the hens will fall off in the night. Normally, but not always, perches are fitted into slots in plywood pieces so they don't move and can be taken out easily. You can add some later screwed to the inside edge of your supports if you like. Bit fiddly cutting the slots though as if you make them too loose the perches wobble.
 
was that $15 or £15 :-)05 looks cosy :D i have to admit theres nothing like building your own house though and good thing you can make it just how you want it .
 
Fabulous! You do realise that soon you may be building for an extended family? Uncles, Aunts, cousins... :D
