I've spent the best part of three days trying to find a supply of Flubenvet 1%. There is apparently nowhere in Ireland that stocks it. Nowhere. Even my vet can't get it. Seriously?? How insane is that? I used to get it online from the UK. But for some reason, they will no longer deliver to Ireland. So, I tried another place, the place I used to get Herban from (until they would no longer deliver that to Ireland), but they won't deliver it to Ireland either! How weird is that? The only licensed wormer for laying hens, and it's not available? I'm not giving up though. If it comes to it, I'll have someone buy it and post it to me!

It's been scarce for quite a while now and the price has rocketed over the past 5 or 6 years, wasn't that long ago you could get 60g for about £12. I have been buying the Marriages Flubenvet pellets for a few years now, makes sense for me given the numbers but if you find you can't get the pure stuff at all in Ireland then perhaps see if you can get that instead, Heygates do a version of it too.

It also can be incredibly hard to get hold of the Marriages (or Heygates) medicated pellets if you don't live near a licensed stockist. Up here in North Norfolk there are no local stockists licensed to sell the medicated pellet, even though they can sell normal Marriages layers pellet. I have to drive for over an hour to pick some up, from a feed store that has to order it in specially as they don't carry it in stock. Getting it delivered here is a) silly money and b) problematical for the delivery lorries because of our narrow access - sigh.

Have you had a look at these people Richmond. Obviously may be no good to you, but then again always worth a look.

They use DPD who drive light commercials 3.99 delivery for each 28kg of weight.

Thanks Dinosaur but I have already looked at these guys. Again, too pricey delivery-wise. Seems daft for a product to start its life in East Anglia, get shipped across the country only to get shipped back again to me.

As it turns out I am going to be collecting some turkey poults from someone who lives close to the aforementioned feed store, so can pick up my order at the same time.

I think that Animed direct sell Flubenvet and post to Republic of Ireland as international delivery.
Don't take my word for it though !! Think they are based in Diss in Norfolk.

We are lucky as we live fairly near a licensed stockist. But if she didn't we would face a long trek also.

I'm a great fan of "Farm and pet place" they deliver within 36 hours, and will put the delivery where you want it!

They sell quality items at realistic competative prices, and I don't think yo can ask for more.

Haven't heard of them. The other places I've tried sell Flubenvet, and always did post it to here, but for some reason, won't anymore. I'll try Animed. Thanks!
I've emailed the other two suppliers four days ago, and haven't had a response from either! :evil:
