Strange friends...........

For a few weeks now, I have noticed a male blackbird continually outside the chicken run, seemingly having conversations with the girls.
He is now joined by his lady, but still the rapport carries on. He has had all the girls noticing him to the point of running to him when he twitters or flies by the run.
It seems like genuine interest on his part and theirs, I try never to drop pellets outside the run, and he does not appear to be feeding, just walking, fluttering and twittering.

Mine have always been interested in blackbirds too but in an altogether more malevolent way, they always had that "just wait till we get out of here sunshine and we'll show you who's grass it is" look about them. Nice to see someone has a better behaved class of bird.
