Silly question alert...

I've heard of the National at Stoneleigh, but apart from showing poultry to win prizes for best fit to breed standard, what else happens there?
As an unapologetic "don't care what it looks like so long as it's friendly, happy, healthy & hopefully lays well" kind of girl who keeps mainly ex-batts, will there be enough for me to see & do to justify the drive from East Kent?

Suggest you go along to one of Kent Poultry clubs shows first. The National is a much larger version of a local show with lots of trade stands, some lectures etc etc. at the National you will get the chance to see good examples of nearly every breed.
