Spotted egg!!!!!!!

Any reason why egg was layed today with white speckled spots??? i did drop & crack it but i am curious about the spots!!!

One of mine lays a lightly spotted egg. Darker spots though. Nothing wrong with hers, she hatched 8 from 8 a few weeks back. I think its just down to the hen (or sometimes the breed).

hi i have four different breeds of chooks and my speckled maran always lays spotty eggs, my others all lay plain ones sometimes my spots are white but other than that there is nothing wrong with them

Thanks for that, it was i had never seen it before, and since having my first hens for 4-5 weeks now this was the first egg with white spots on, i thought it might be i have fed wrong or there was an ill hen, thats why i asked for peace of mind!!! Many thanks!!!
