Slaughter Chickens.

Ive rescued a chick from a slaughter farm.
Can anyone give me any info on her??
We've been told shes an Orpington, But ive researched them and they are to pretty to be slaughter chickens.
Ive seen the chickens when they are 8 weeks old with feathers and they arnt very pretty to look at but mines really friendly.
Im new to keeping chickens. Shes my first. We think shes 3-4 weeks old and we're planning on getting her a little friend. Id like to show, but i dont think i could show her because she was a slaughter chicken.
Can anyone give me any info on her & what her breeding might be?x

Also, do you know if i took her to the vets. If there is anything they can give her for health?x
 
She is very very cute. I can't help you with a breed I'm afraid, have you tried any other poultry sites? As for the vet, you'd need to find a good vet that is able to deal with poultry, many of them aren't

We are sure that shes got Orpington in her. Ive seen some other baby orpingtons & they look very much alike :) x
Vets arnt very good all round if im honest haha.
 
haha, yeh i've met a few that make me wonder

after having a look around yesterday she does look like she has some orp in her, she'll be a beautiful bird
