Sick chicken that can't stand

Hi, I would like some advice on what is best for my sick chicken. She is a brown ranger and is 2 years old. Last week she started to walk a little funny and was falling over, the next day she was sat at the back of the coop not standing. I have separated her from the rest of the chickens and they all seem fine. I took her to the vet, who gave her aureomycin to treat any infection. She has been on this for just over a week now, and the vet said if she didn't improve it would be best to have her put to sleep. She is alert, eating and drinking if placed near her food and water, but won't stand on her legs. The vet said she was thin and that she may have been bullied by the other chickens but couldn't find anything wrong with her wings or legs. Her vent is messy, due to not being able to move from where she is poling, but her poo is normal, brown and white, and solid, not runny. She has no other symptoms other than being warm and slightly noisy breathing which has improved with the antibiotics.
Is there anything else it might be, or that I can try, as it seems a shame to put her to sleep.
