sex of chick??

hiya every1 i was wondering if any of you cleaver ppl cud tell me the sex of this 8 wk old chick and any other info on its breed plz we think it is a goldline but not sure what we were told is correct!! any help wud b gr8 thankyou sarah x x

Hello, it looks like a hybrid pullet- but the pic is a little small to be 100% certain they have various names depending on where and which breeder supplied her. Goldline is one- a cross between RIR and L/sussex

Yes she is a girl, when crossing rir with light sussex they are sex linked at birth.

Girls are brownish & boys are silver. this happens with any red male x light ie Welsummer x LS, RIR x LS
