Well, we have a broody!
Opened the ark to check on the ladies at lunch and was met by the biggest fluffed up squawker ready to kill anything that tried to remove her from her nest of 'nothingness' Then, to top it off, trod on the biggest poo in my best shoes :shock: - ahh the joy!

We've got one as well BB. Ollie, Issy's only daughter, so we'll be treating her very gently. Orpingtons do look cute when they do the broody mummy thing! Little head on the ground and huge fluffy body sticking up in the air.

I know what you mean, also means Mildred lets me pick her up as my hands nice and warm under her - more grumpy husband comments about cuddling chickens Sadly, due to the Maraks deaths, I can't let her hatch any chicks
