HI,
Thanks for previous advice on treating scaly leg mite. I've had the hen in a separate run/house since I bought her 6 days ago and have been rubbing on vaseline every other day. She's in with another new hen whose legs I've also been rubbing with vaseline in the (vain?) hope that the mites won't be able to get in.
How long do I need to keep them apart?
Her legs are not bloody anymore and look a lot better (they're pale pink - is this right for a Light Sussex?).
Thanks.
Liz
