Hi All,
I have a 10 week old Salmon Faverolles cockeral which I hoped to use for breeding in the future but I have noticed that his fifth toe actually runs parallel with the fourth toe instead of pointing upwards. Does this make him unsuitable for breeding thus better off in the freezer or is it a minor fault that can be rectified through correct breeding further down the line.
Idearly I'd love to start off with a perfect flock but they aren't the easiest birds to get hold of where I live, which is a pity as they my favourite breed.
Many thanks
