i am now running the inccy dry until around day 18 , temp is steady at 37.5 and humditity at 50 - 55 it goes up and down a bit i hope this is ok .

That's sounds fine to me. Still high Karminski but impossible to get it any lower, as that is the dampness of the air in the room. So now the nail biting wait to candling at 7 days.

Is that what the humidity is set at Karminski? It is a little high.

i would assume so but i dont know how to change it :( but our rooms do go up and down like a yoyo which doesnt help but now the clicking has stopped as for some reason as its was turning it made an annoying click noise every few mintues and it kept me awake which is why its gone bakc downstairs wander wether to risk bringing it back upstairs where my room isnt that bad . i have a gut feeling this is going to go wrong and i have no way of candling :( :( them as non of our touches are strong enough .

i have worked out how to get the humditiy down to say around 35 but as soon as i press ok button it goes back up to 55% and wont stay on the 35 :-)05 :-)05 think this is the settings for it and they are set solid ,have been reading quite a few sites were people have it set to around 50% then up it to about 60 -65 % when they are due to hatch  you know what i find broody hens easier but i havent really got any broody now well i have 2 and they act broody most the time until i give them some eggs then they change thier minds :-)05 :-)05 strange birds i have been reading the terry beebe book and its great but if this does go wrong then i will just put it down to bad luck and learn from it .

the humidity is now at around 30- 32 max and sems to of settled for some reason ,i dont know if it was something i done with pressing the buttons but i hope it was .please have fingers crossed that this doesnt go pear shaped .

My RCOM suro has been playing up too this last lot of duck eggs I've got in it - I've set humidity for 35% but it has been struggling to get it below 50 for the first 2 weeks, I've now got it down to 38 - it hasn't been a problem so far this season but maybe the air is just a bit too humid lately? My other inci is running at 34 so not sure what the problem is??!!!:D They should be fine - eggs are pretty robust and can cope with fluctuation to a certain degree - the humidity on mine won't be going up again until they pip.

mine dropped down to 20 or just lower and i was worried and after speaking to foxy on the phone it sounds like the pump might not be working correctly so she advised me to put a little tub in the corner covered by some card and to adjust the card slighty every so often and within an hour of doing that the humditiy went up to 30 % which is better then what it was but i really dont think this weather is helping at all .

Hi i to have a r-com suro and find factory settings to be inaccurate,i purchased a external thermometer and found factory settings to be 2deg out.i still have problems and think it to be humidity problems.day 18 had 18 eggs full of chick but by day 24 only 4 chicks hatched broke eggs open to find chicks inside ,can only think of humidity.

i have decided that if these eggs dont come out and hatch then i wont be doing anymore its to stressfull , at present i have 5 quails eggs in and managing to have good chats with someone who breeds them so i am hoping things do work out ok . i really wanted my last hatch to work as its a breed i wold really adore to have but nothing happened .
