can anyone help me only i was told that you can use jeyes fluid on the run floor slightly watered down for the smell ect ???.

I use Stalosan, a pink powder disinfectant - sprinkle it on the earth when I clean out the run. Keeps it dry too, and safe for birds.

some people sprinkle garden lime on the earth every now and then to keep run 'sweet'.

If you want to use liquid disinfectant it's best to use a non-poisonous type safe for use with poultry, especially on the floor as they will be nibbling the flooring and might eat something as strong and potentially toxic as Jeyes Fluid. The best sorts are Barrier V1 or Poultry Shield both of which are pleasant-smelling, (unlike Jeyes,) and cleared for organic egg production. It really depends on what type of flooring you are using, but whatever you have, the birds will produce the same amazing amount of poo!
