Hello all,
I have just finished updating part of the software we use and have enabled the RSS feeds for the forum.
What does this mean? Well RSS is "Really Simple Syndication" and basically enables posts to be output to an RSS reader.
There are many RSS readers about but you can also have posts listed on pages such as iGoogle home pages and so on.
I'm going to add a 'feed' of the latest new forum posts to the poultrykeeper.com website so if clicked it will bring people to that post and keep a latest posts feed on my iGoogle home page so I can see what new posts are there without having to visit the site.
If you have your own website and would like to add one of our forum feeds to it, please feel free, it would be excellent publicity for us
The feeds that are available are:
The Poultry Forum - A board wide feed of the latest 30 posts.
New Topics - The last 30 new Topics
Active Topics - The top 30 active topics (those with the most posts)
And... if there's only one area that really interests you Waterfowl for example, you can subscribe to individual forums too by going to that page and looking for the RSS Feed.
RSS feeds are shown in Internet Explorer 8 like this:

and in Firefox in the address bar like this:

Each feed outputs a maximum of 30 posts.
If you have any questions, please ask!
Thanks,
Tim
