I have just posted on my Facebook the following just in case one of my friends is interested or one of their friends (it's been shared quite widely)... But just thought maybe you would do?
If I can't find a home for them I know a colleague/friend of mine will have them as he's experienced in the culling and prepping etc... So not a big deal, but they are so handsome that I'm thinking they're too good for his oven! The other problem is that their run is just not going to be big enough for them much longer... It would be fine if they were girls... But their personality is growing just as fast as they are... ! Lol
Anyway here goes the post, and if you are interested just let me know
? I am in Nottinghamshire by the way and could deliver if reasonably close, as in an hour round trip is reasonable enough to me...
These 3 young roosters are 7 weeks old and they need a home! I can't keep them - I have a rooster already - and would rather avoid them being culled.
They are a mixed breed bantam - dad is a mix between a New Hampshire Red dad and a Pekin. and mum is either the same mixed breed as dad, an Ancona or a Pekin. Billie (grey one) and Tris (brown/black) have feathered feet. Uthred's (black & white) mum is the Ancona. Tris's is the same mixed breed as dad. Not sure about Billie, although it looks more than likely like the Pekin buff.
I am not looking to sell them, but a donation towards poultry feed would be welcome
