Restarting Laying?

My black bantam Orpington pullet Pixie was laying very well up until around late November. Since then she hasn't laid a single egg, and we have a show on the 19th Feb. I entered her for Bantam Contents, so we need to get her laying again. Any tips?

Hi,

I think mother nature will decide when Pixie will start to lay again. Mine are still not laying yet, despite quite a few others on here enjoying fresh eggs once again. As the days are getting longer I think its fair to say you can be hopeful that by your show date she may have started laying. i havn't got enough experience to know what you can maybe give them to bring about laying- if there is such a thing.

Patience, longer days and some sunshine seem to be the natural ingredients.
