Resizing iPhone images

Anyone any idea how to resize an iPhone image to get it to a size I can upload on here?
Just switched from a blackberry (who's images fit on the forum with no issue at all) but however I try to shrink the iPhone ones, they always seem to be too big.

That was taken with my iphone 5 and loaded via mobile to forum. I do have an app which shrinks photos so not sure if that helps? Might be other iphone users who will give us some tips?
