Hi All

I'm new to this site and look forward to getting your thoughts! I've been hatching for a few years now and what started out as 4 chickens for a few eggs has turned into a small business venture :D

I wondered whether anyone uses either of the above incubators and hoped that I could get a review from you if you do?

We started out with an R-com King Suro and had great results, we then upgraded to the R-com 50 Pro but have never got the same hatch rates as with the smaller incubator - tips would be appreciated! I have spoken to the manufacturers and they were very helpful and we are in the process of trying to resolve the low hatch rates so I cross my fingers that I can come back to you with good news!

We are now contemplating buying a Brinsea Ova Easy 190 and would like to know what people think of it first?

Thanks in advance
Ruth

Hiya,
Sorry youve not had a reply. I didnt want to read and run but I have no experience of the Brinsea Ova easy 190.
I do have a R-com 20 and a 7 egg Brinsea mini advanced (Both fully auto) I have amazing results in the Brinsea but when I set my first batch in the R-com I had a mixture of Brahma and bantam eggs so used the universal tray. I lost lots of bantam eggs late in shell in the R-com but the extras I put in the Brinsa all hatched. I cant be sure that it wasnt just bad luck and the ones I chose for the R-com werent destined to die anyway but since then Ive bought the 20 egg turning tray for the R-com and have had much better results. I did notice that the eggs dont turn very well in the universal tray as they tend to go off at an angle and I wondered if that had a negative affect.
