r com 20 pro usb ,
set up with dutch bantam eggs, run on auto chicken, 37.5 c and 45% humidity, removed to hatcher on last 2 days
8 out of 12 eggs fertile, all seemed o.k., chicks stuggled to hatch, so after 2 days opened a few eggs , chicks were too big for the egg shell to turn and hatch
any ideas from experienced r com users
the only possibility i can think of , is i set eggs from young birds , but eggs seemed large enough , did not use the first lay pullet eggs
or the r com humidity reading is wrong and the 45% is actually more
any way of testing
or do others have this problem and have worked around it
cheers a disapointed rupert
