I candled my quail eggs again today.Out of the 5 eggs,4 are now very dark and you can only make out the odd vein.I'm assumimg it is where the chicks have developed and now filling the shells. There incubation is only for 16 days, and it will be day 14 tomorrow.
The one egg,you can still clearly see inside, there is a developing embryo, but it is easily half the size of the others that now fill their eggs.I can make out the heart(it is still beating)but it looks as if this one is a week behind with it's development.
So tomorrow, when I stop turning the other's,should I carry on turning this one? At least until it has developed more?
