My avatar is actually an underpainting, so designed to look like that. I use "paint" to reduce size and upload.

I agree, Chris - before finding this forum, I lurked for a couple of years on another forum, and still follow it, now and then, but from time to time there have been one or two rather nasty spats on there which have left me feeling rather uncomfortable. I like it on here because, although the only person i could perhaps recognise in the street is Tim, because of his avatar (if that handsome young man in the photo is indeed Tim...) nevertheless, I have formed pictures in my mind of what the rest of you probably look like. A bit like visualising characters from the Archers, I suppose. I think Foxy must be particularly slim, sexy, young and beautiful, as well as a very kind person as we all know. And Cuwiar comes through with her lovely Welsh accent, of course.

Hi Cuwiar. Tim left instructions at the top of page 2 of how to reset the screen size. Once you have done it the screen reverts to the original 'pre-irritation' size after you have logged in.

Oops! Really sorry, I jumped in with a quick reply before I'd seen page two! Have adjusted my settings now and back to the format I know and love!
Marigold - I like your mental pictures that you're building up of the forum members, I do it too! Although I'm sorry but there's no strong Welsh accent here...the part of North Wales I'm in isn't very Welsh speaking although I'm learning the languge and am very patriotic :mrgreen:
