Problems posting reply

On three separate occasions I've had problems posting a reply. When I click the "Submit" button I get a really strange, unintelligible message.

If I think go back a page I find my reply is posted but also shows as a preview because another message has been posted in the meantime - MINE!!

Even if I delete all the text in the preview box it still tries to make me review it. My reply is in any case posted twice so I just have to delete one of them.

It doesn't happen with every reply I post. Any ideas or do I just have to keep deleting the duplicated post?
 
I have had that come up a couple of times after posting, something to do with debug error. But the message has gone on the forum straight away, I thought it was our computer to be honest
 
Yes it does funny things sometimes. You are supposed to get a 'hold on a bit' message if someone else has posted at the same time, in case you want to alter your post. It's not so bad when you double-post as when you lose the post altogether! I've taken to copying long posts if I'm going to leave the page for any reason. And if I want to post a link I post my text first, then find and copy the link, and go back to the post and add it then.
 
I've been getting that error message too, regularly. Yet when I go back to the thread I was posting on, the post is there.

Yes it's something like that. The only real problem is that my posts can appear twice but I can deal with that. I was worried it might be my computer but at leas it seems I'm not alone !

Just did it again - this is the version it's asking me to review because there's a new post. Mine, but limited to the text above.
 
I'm getting error messages too every time that I try to post. Don't think my posts are appearing in duplicate, though I have to submit them twice to get them to appear... Glad it's not just me.
 
Yes I got the error message a few times in the week, but rather than posting twice sometimes my messages just weren't there (possibly because I did not post them twice?) Has been OK today.
 
I've just written out the error message & PM'd it to Tim. Hopefully (if he's not a key worker) he'll be able to sort it out .
 
#metoo It's been happening all week, I assumed it was my pop up blocker, so didn't mention it. If you hit the back button or refresh, it posts the message again.?
