Anybody actually know what is in The "Poultry Spice " product that we can buy???

Poultry spice is an age old tonic which I believe people started to use as a mineral supplement the scraps fed to their backyard birds post second world war. Could be wrong though! :-)07

Yes - I think it was called 'spice' because it was to sprinkle on the mash like adding a spice.

There are various vitamins and minerals in poultry spice - the label has the list of these in the composition.

yES THANKS
BUT I DONT HAVE LABEL THATS WHY I ASKED IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME

OK - I can have a look tonight, I think I have a tub in the cupboard at home.

Hi Tim
Hope you don;t get that mixed up with your own spices, I know you are a dab hand in the kitchen :-)07

Nah Sue, there are only set things I can cook (well!) and most of those involve eggs or poultry! I can make Spag. Bol. though.

Anyway, "Poultry Spice - Mineral Supplement feeding stuff, Keeps Birds Healthy"

Contains:
Minerals, Micronised Wheat, Powdered Ginger, Turmeric, Fenugreek and Ainseed

Hope this helps!

Thanks tim
Now i can try to make some
I cant buy any poultry supplements here (Bulgaria) so i have been using local herbs
Cheers Chris
