Has anyone else been suffering truly dire postal deliveries?
We have had no post delivered for 31 days, yesterday the postman appeared with one Christmas card, which was yours Margaid. Neighbour along the lane got 2 things everyone else nothing.
Still the Christmas cards will look nice at Easter when they arrive.

My post has been generally OK but the "delivery centre" is less than a mile away. A Special Delivery I posted to Wellingborough last Friday (not a strike day) wasn't delivered until Wednesday.

I've just been seeing bits of reports on the news. Between the strikes, the energy price hikes, and general cost of living, it all looks very 1970s/early 80s - I keep expecting to see Arthur Scargill being interviewed!

I dread to think how many hospital appointment letters are lurking in bags at the sorting office.
My friend has been trying to reassure her mum that all her friends haven't died and the cards are in the post somewhere
