Polish Chicken with distended and curved neck

Hoping someone can help. My Polish chicken quite suddenly developed a severely bent neck so that she looked as though she was searching for something on the ground. Her neck seems to be in a kind of spasm and there are nervous convulsions every now and then. She can still eat and drink I think but with a lot of difficulty (She has to put her whole head in the water to drink as she can't raise her head). I've looked on diseases websites but can't see anything that looks remotely like this. She's been like this for about two days but is getting weaker. Can anyone suggest what this might be?

Hello, it could be a number of things- is her crest hanging over her eyes? Can she see ok? Have you checked her for mites? Is her neck swollen? Any injuries you can see/feel on her neck? I would take her to the vets to get her checked over- hope she improves soon,
