I'm so chuffed, brought in 12 hatching eggs, very long flight, and as I write I have 5 hatched and at least 2 more pipping out of 9 eggs in my Brinsea Mini echo. 3 more eggs due to hatch tomorrow are in a borrowed incubator together with 30 RIR eggs. New to this breed, what I love so far is each one looks very different. Will try post photos later today.

So far have 6 hatched, two pipping - getting anxious wondering if I should intervene - what would you do?

Poland chicks are soooo cute! :D The first chicks always seem to unzip the quickest. Just make sure with the 2 that have pipped that the humidity is high enough. How long has it been since they first pipped?

They look lovely Cherrycoop. So you were able to bring hatching eggs into your Country and you were allowed to transport them in your hand luggage on the plane?

Foxy I had to intervene - got one more plus 2 dead on the shell. All in all very happy with 7 out of 9 in the Brinsea. The other incubator that I borrowed is a JN4-48, and I can see one more Poland has hatched in there - I put 3 in together with 29 RIRs. However, I am concerned with the humidity in that one and have had to open it to add wet sponges. No gadget to measure unfortunately. Whilst I am trying to find ways of importing hatching eggs the right way, unfortunately it is extremely difficult but I will pursue it. Hand bag and beating heart it was Chris!

More pics cos I've just discovered how to do this on the iPad
