My duck seems very quieter that usual the lat day or so, he. Orally ain't like this so I suspected a problem, he's tryin to push poop out but you can see him pushin an pushin but nothin comes out what Gould I do, he won't let me touch is belly as I think it's sore

Hiya, is the duck male or female? Is he eating and drinking ok? Has he pooped at all today? Is he still walking preening and swimming? Is he eating?

Hi he's male, he hast ate today yes am unsure weather he's pooped today as I have another 2 so hard to tel, he has prooned yes he's walkin ok but tends to not walk so much just sits, I can see his back end twitching an tryin to push , he doesn't look him self he seems sad, ave got him in a warm bath now tryin too see if it helps him

It is unlikely to be constipation. If he hasn't pooped he may have a blockage of some kind. Can you get him to a vets on Monday? Keep an eye on him over the next hour or so, he should poop between now and then, they go a few times an hour if they are fed regularly. Is he eating ok now? Have you tried him with treats?

Yes he's eatin , no he doesn't appear to be popping as he normally would of by now especially bein in bath. But he's twitching away really pushin you can tell he's pushin,

A think am best not feedin him otherwise it could bloat him an cause more issues

Well keep an eye on him and keep him in the bath for a bit, get him to the vet as soon as you can. If he is alert and bright he should be ok, but if he won't move and lays his head down you need to get him emergency vet treatment. Are you 100% he is male? If he is female she could be egg bound

I'm sorry but this is not an appropriate place to be begging for help with obvious serious distress of an animal. YOU NEED TO CALL A VET !!! There is nothing any of us can do, the duck needs veterinary care.

Yes I already did, as soon as I posted my thread , more feedback is better than one, listen just don't comment if you got nothin constructive to say without pulling someone down,

you never mentioned that you rang a vet and got the duck treatment so i replied how i felt was constructive to push you to do so if you hadn't already.

How is the duck this morning? What you are seeing at the rear end of the duck is likely to be laboured breathing rather than pushing if the duck is male. The tail will bob up and down when they are breathing heavily. This could be an indication of a wide range of things so a trip to the vets would be helpful.

Hi still same today do off to the vets with a £200 vet fee an a 2 hour all round journey , looks like his phallis is cut so more be causin dis comfort do on meds an see how me baby guy gets on

Has he already seen the vets then? What meds is he on?
Wish you the best with his recovery, keep us posted Paddy.

Hope he gets better soon, if it's any consolation one of my black runner drakes had this problem poor lad, we had to err..remove a little bit of his um..parts but he made a full recovery! :D
