Seriously. It sounds like the beginning of a joke, but it isn't. It was wooing the chickens for ages, showing off the feathers etc, then one day it jumped on the back of her, bit her comb (to keep her head still, presumably - classy!) and she's not been the same since. No problem with the pheasant any longer as not here any more, but the chicken has not laid since; that was 3 months ago. Apart from her no-laying, she seems fine in every way, even goes in the nest box every day as if she is going to lay, but no joy. Other 3 are laying as usual. Any ideas what I should do? Apart from opening a chicken/pheasant dating site, that is... Thanks.
