Pekin's feet

Hi

I am very new to keeping chickens I have just bought some Mille Fluer Pekin chicks.

4 of them have feathers on their legs and one doesn't. Is this usual?

We where thinking maybe this one was a cockerel.

Regardless of the sex of the pekin chicks they should all have feathered feet. You will be able to tell which are males at around 5 weeks of age.

The one with no feathers on the feet is not a Pekin. It will probably be lovely anyway.
