Is it possible that an Orpington cockerel can tread a Pekin hen, or likely?
I hatched mixed colours of purebreed Pekins, all the eggs were Pekin so mum must be a Pekin.
One of them is the most stunning coal black girl, looks like a Pekin, but has only got very fine leg feathers, and no foot feathers.
She is also a big, solid girl for a Pekin, and I think looks like an Orpington in stature, stately, small neat head.
If I could I would post a picture!

Yes it is possible, a cockerel will cover any hen regardless of size - can be just slightly less likley the other way round, although I did have a tiny bantam cockerel someone gave me and he managed to get his wicked way with my orps! - weird offspring too and all black as hen was black orp!!:D You just need to watch the little hen doesn't get hurt by the big cockerel!!
