Pekin constantly calling

I have a Pekin bantam that recently sat on some eggs which did not hatch. She is back with my flock, eating well, but is calling all the time and this has gone on for a week now. What does it mean? Is she missing the chicks that didn't hatch, or perhaps wanting to go broody again? The cockerel is very interested in her. I'm not sure what to do to make her happy.

I would say she is wanting to get back to her chicks or eggs Chickenfan. I suggest not letting her go broody again so soon as she needs building up for at least a month. Don't know what to suggest? She needs some kind of distraction obviously.

Thank you Chris. Much to my surprise she is back in lay, and is now feeling quite peaceful.
