Hello,

Mollie is well, fluffed up, and smells a little more fragrant. (Will add a link to the blowdry when up-loaded)

Hopefully you enjoy watching it if nothing else........

Thankyou both,

I just hope it was half right? Couldn't see through my glasses for water drops!
The other two never even flapped a wing.....and as for a no2, well i never.

Totally adorable!
Do you bath the pekins because of the feathers on their feet, or are you meant to bath all chickens?? I have never bathed my girls, but I have just got some pekin bantam chicks and have been cleaning their feet very gently as their food and poo seems to get stuck on the feathers... They don't seem to mind it at all - is this because of the breed or because they are so young? How often to you bath them when they are adults?

Hi gretl,

I would agree with Girlracer.

We have had our Pekins for 11 weeks now, and each one has had a foot wash, and a fullish bath-so far. When I give them a once over for crawlies each week, if they look a little grubby, i.e. their feet or bottoms, and its reasonable weather, I give them a bath of sorts. Our Lavender, had a full bath the other day, she was putting her head under the water, and was covered in bubbles!

Enjoy your chicks, I bet they are lovely......
