If any one could give me a clue as to what she is, I would be so grateful, as we really dont have a clue being new to this chicken thing

Thanks for looking

Mummy hen looks to have a crest - could be part aracauna (sp?) or cream legbar. I'm hopeless at guessing breeds, so will leave it to those who can! :D

Is that Salmon Faverolles chicks I spy??? (Pic 3 and 5) Have they got feathered legs?

This is Smartie, our Salmon Faverolles, so you can compare her to your chicks. (Oh and I don't think you've got any cockerels in your group of Favs from what I can see!)

She;s certainly got a crest, but the colour could be bantam Speckled Sussex? She's beautiful, wherever the hybrid vigour is coming from. I can see why you found these irresistable and they've obviously fallen on good times with you. i like the Hylines as well - they are very good at artistic poses!

No, no feathered legs, but really interested in all the posts, thanks to all. Eversuffering husband found some pics of a silver lace orpington and we thought maybe a cross....?????? Whatever she is, she is a brilliant mum with a sweet nature.

YUP!!! def can say they fell on their feet here :D

Mum is very pretty! I can see why you couldn't resist her and her beautiful babies.
