Hello all
My Orpingtons all (with the exception of one) go to roost a good hour or so before my Welsummers and Pekins. The other day they were all in at 6pm, they all came out again as soon as they heard me shaking some food around for themthen stayed out a while longer before going back in again. Is this an Orpington thing? Are they just getting on a bit and need their sleep? Or have I just got some lazy birds?
The others stay out until after 9pm every night just now.
By the way, it's true what they say about them going broody easily!
