Hi,

Thought this little tale of woe was worth a note. My girls usually have the run of the garden even though we have a descent size run for them, this morning they were left in the run.
I came back home to an awful racket coming from the back garden and feared the worst...... :o
I opened the back door, racket still filling the air.....
There was 'mcqueen',( named after Steve Mcqueen after her epic atempt to fly over the fence when we fisrt got her!) squawking her head off at full pelt with the others singing in unison.
They saw me and stopped.... as i turned they all started up again....i turned back, they shut up.....turned to go again and they all started up again
They got their way in the end as the only way to shut them up was to let them out, which i did and they made a bee line for the vegetable patch and procceded to all take dust baths!!!!
What a life. :P

Hi Stu,

They're not silly are they?!!! They'd probably been quiet all day till they heard you come home! They're such characters aren't they?
My motto is ' Never underestimate a chicken'

lol , as soon as i open my back door, my pekins line up at their run door sqawking to be let out, can't wait till i get the electic fencing up so they can be out when they like and not have to worry about the dogs
