older drakes eye problem

Hello,
I have a drake he is over 11yrs old and he has had a problem with one of his eyes.
It looks as if it foams up a bit, he never had this before. I was putting optrex eye drops into bathe it.
Does anyone here have any ideas as to what I could try. The optrex helps a little, he has been this way a few weeks, but he is alright otherwise. He is probably a khaki campbell crossbreed.
He does go into the pond so he washes his eyes.

UPDATE on drakes eye problem

I got some Tylan from the Vet last week, she gave him injection and also gave me some to treat him as well.
The problem of his eye is much better.
