Off heat.

Hi,I hatched some turkey eggs for the first time a couple of week ago.They are bronze turkeys.At what sort of age can they come off heat.I am using an electric hen.

Depends on the weather, but mine were off heat at about 4 weeks old - the were mainly roosting on the edges of their tub and not under the electric hen at night and rarely using it during the day either so was obvious they were ready to go out!! They were also feathered up well by then and when mine go out they I put them in rabbit hutches at night so they are sitting in a group so don't get cold!
