Not long to go... Broody Hen Video

Well, I downloaded a video I took last spring today and thought.... January, it really isn't that long before I'll be collecting eggs to hatch.

So here's my video of a broody bantam I used to hatch some duck eggs. I chopped off the first bit about the duck eggs which was a little boring :-)12 so it starts with me heading off to catch the broody bantam at dusk!

Oh and I'm rubbish at talking and filming at the same time... and I seem to be out of breath all the time!

Brilliant Tim, David Attenborough eat your heart out...was a bit worried when I spotted the coiled green hosepipe though! :D :D
Love to see more of those!
 
Ah yes, the hosepipe is for filling a duck bath and I coil it up so I don't trip up on the garden path...

The field is a different story though and the hosepipe is always laid out ready for action! 8-)
