Noisy chicks

My three week old chicks are extremely chatty. I know if they are noisy this is a bad sign and means something is wrong, but I can't work out what it is. They look OK and its not a distressed noise, but not normal all the same. I've given them pro-biotics and will keep a vigilant eye for coccidiosis, but just wonder what else could have made them noisy.

Our last hatch of Bantam Leghorns were very noisy and still are Chickenfan. At that age they are forming into a flock and establishing a pecking order so I don't think there is anything wrong with them, unless they are too hot or too cold.

Thanks for the reassurance Chris. I've not had such noisy chicks before.

They weren't noisy until 3 days ago - now noisy all the time.
