newcomer from scotland

hi, im Robert from east lothian scotland, im 16 and have 14 ducks, 2 khaki campbell male and female, 5 mallard 2 male and 3 female, and 7 blue fawn 3 male 4 female,
we just got a plot in front of our house so are going to get around 12 chickens, were going to get some from the Battery Hen rescue place but i would like some other species as well, so any suggestions welcome

Hi,
welcome to the forum,my first chooks were ex-batts,they are lovely.As to regards other breeds or hybrids, decide what you want them for ie appearance,eggs,friendliness etc.also,large fowl or bantam.that should help to find some breeds to look at.There are so many different breeds,all of them appeal to me .
