Newcastle Disease

Our neighbour has received a call from DEFRA advising her of outbreaks of Newcastle disease in Belgium. Anyone else had a call or message we haven't

Must admit I thought that Newcastle Disease was something Geordie slappers contracted after a Saturday night on the lash. But certainly I've not received any notification of this.

The notification was that there had been two outbreaks on commercial units in Eastern Flanders, and they were advising people to be aware and take appropriate bio measures as a precaution. She said it was also on the farming website.
