[Alan's Ducks]

Hi all we are Alan & ceann we have 9 ducks all campbells mixed colours we currently have 5 ducklings left form this years first hatching we did hatch fifteen, we also have 6 geese pipping today they started to pip last night, we did have 10 goose eggs but two were non fertile and two we are not sure about they started ok but its not looking good for them so we'll have to see about them in the next few days.
Anyway thanks for letting us join we look forward to talking to you all in the near future.

I'm new here also. I've never kept ducks or geese (yet, I hope to in the future) but I've heard so many cool things about them. I'm hatching some chicken eggs right now, but I'm not sure how many are going to hatch because my incubator isn't always the most reliable, especially with the weather being so crazy.

Hi all well we have 4 lovely geese 3 girls and one boy, one died in the shell i regret not helping now if i had of it would be here now ! 2 were infertile 2 died in the shell , and we have another 15 duck eggs in now we candled them after 7 days and all 15 have little hearts and veins, it never ceases to amaze me the wonder of new life in that shell and how a little bit of warmth starts new life growing. it is a wonder full world its just a pity we are destroying it for profit .
