Hi I'm Rachel and I've joined as finding myself using the internet more and more in search of advice or questions answered in regards to my chickens! Came across this site whilst searching and thought it would be the best place to find information from like minded people. We have had two chickens, Brittany and Jeanette for 2 months now and they lay lovely eggs for us daily although yesterday Brittany surprised us by laying 2 eggs in 1 day! We have recently rescued 3 ex batt babies only a couple of months old. They escaped from the big shed they were kept in, meat birds, they go through fast day/night cycles. Anyway its lovely to watch them enjoying freedom and flapping their wings! They are called Eleanor, Alvin & Theodore (my 6 year old son has chosen all names!). Have a health issue regarding new chicks which i will post in the correct section in a little while.
