New to Quail

Dear all I'm collecting 12 Japanese quail at the weekend to keep in 2 x 4ft hutches (is about 6 females in each okay?) and hoping to get plenty of eggs from them. We have kept chickens in the past and loved it! but as we have a small back garden and now a toddler we thought we'd give Quails a go until we're able to move. I have done a bit of research but any useful tips and advice would be great! thanks Michelle

Small, sweet, good for and with kids, dont run away, can be kept in a fairly small area...
