New to forum

[Papa Chicken]

Hello everyone, and good mornin from Arizona. Im new to the forum and a papa to 15 two week old chicks, 7 Plymouth Barred Rocks, 4 Golden Laced Wyandottes and 4 Sliver Laced Wyandottes. These ckicks are amazing i have 10 of them that are eating raisin treats out of my hand already and 5 that will fly onto my lap to eat there raisin treats lol. I will soon be a papa to 26 more chicks, 25 Plymouth Barred Rocks and 1 Rare Exotic Breed that i dont know what kind yet, I ordered them from Murray Mcmurray's and should be at my house by next week lol. 07

Hi Papa Chicken, and welcome to the Forum. That's a very interesting flock you have there. Obviously you spend a great deal of time with them. We would love to see some pictures!

Hi Marigold thx for the welcome. I spend atleast 30min in the morning and in the evening and sometimes in the afternoon if im home. If I can figure out how to post pics from my phone ill post pics lol.

If you get the Tapatalk app it's very easy to post pics from your phone, or there is a thread at the top of the Photos of Chickens section on here with some hints. Hope you can manage it!

Thx Marigold found it pretty easy ti figure the avatar out lol, the pic is my friendlies chick wich is a Silver Laced Wyandotte.

Hi Papa chicken and welcome to the forum. We keep Blue Laced Wyandottes. If you didn't know already, when you breed them you only get 50% Blue in a hatch. The remainder come out Gold Laced and Buff Laced so we have some of those as well. I'm very curious about this "Rare Exotic Breed" you are getting- suppose you are as well.

Im extremley exited to see what it is, my girls are suppose to be here either tomorrow or wednesday i cant wait. Wonder what i would get if i breed a male gold laced wyandotte with a silver laced female. 19
