Hi Matthew, how lovely to have a member from Canada. It's so interesting for us who live in the UK to hear about how people keep their poultry in different climates and situations. Do please tell us a bit about your flock, and how you get your birds through what are probably pretty severe winters by our standards. (Here in the UK everything seems to grind to a halt if we get 2 inches if snow, but I expect you have a bit more than that.)
Yes I'm sure we have much more than chickens in common, but they're a good place to start!
